I took this photo in 2013, in Milwaukee. The city has a really beautiful art museum designed by Santiago Calatrava and some very fun neighborhoods. Milwaukee is the first place I go when I need a little break from Chicago. I go DELUXE and take Amtrak. No driving for me, of course.
I saw these really cool koi paste-ups ( or is this a paste-down?) around the Milwaukee Art and Design School.
I have always remembered them for their simplicity and the feeling of movement.
